Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Pediatric Rehab team. The role involves planning, organizing, and implementing structured treatment under a licensed Physical Therapist for patients across ages and diagnoses.

The position requires an Associate Degree or PTA certification, successful PTA Boards, and current Ohio PTA license. A valid driver’s license and rotation in Rehabilitation Services are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certification from an accredited PTA program.
• Successful PTA Board examination.
• Current Ohio PTA license.
• Minimum of one clinical rotation in a Rehabilitation Services setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement structured treatment under a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide group and/or individual treatments to varied ages and diagnostic categories.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans with PT input as needed.
• Ensure timely documentation and accurate patient charges.
• Demonstrate willingness to cross-train and assist with orientation of staff.
