Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide pediatric physical therapy under licensed supervision. The role includes gait training, exercise, and modalities across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

The successful candidate will review records, document progress, and educate families on home programs, with opportunities for mentorship and skill development.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• One year pediatric experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Read and review the medical record to understand diagnosis, precautions, goals and treatment plans.
• Provide direct interventions in individual or group sessions, including gait training, exercise and modalities.
• Treat patients in hospital settings, including the ambulatory network.
• Evaluate response to intervention and document progress; instruct in home program.
• Coordinate care with hospital and community providers; track equipment.
• Maintain current skills and pursue clinical growth through mentorship.
