Job summary

University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville seeks a Part‑Time Physical Therapist for Pediatrics Early Steps. You will perform developmental assessments in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and provide therapy within the family’s natural environment, following the EI plan and ensuring plan of care accuracy.

preferred candidates will have 2–5 years of pediatric experience; licensure in Florida is required and Medicaid EI enrollment is a must.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Florida (CAPTE‑accredited program).
• Two to five years’ experience with children birth to age 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes developmental evaluations, screenings, and assessments with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provides intervention/consultations per Individualized Family Support Plan in natural environment.
• Develops Plan of Care and secures third‑party authorization.
• Maintains clinical materials and coordinates equipment replacement as needed.
