Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist for part-time, school-based positions in Dunn Avenue hub and local Volusia County schools. You will provide care directly in educational settings, supporting children’s development and mobility goals with evidence-based treatments and teamwork alongside families and therapists.

The role focuses on pediatric evaluations, treatment planning, and family education in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet approved driver qualifications to drive for program business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Track progress with timely EMR documentation.
• Set and achieve goals in each Plan of Care.
• Manage caseload while mentoring PTA(s).
• Collaborate with families, schools, early intervention programs, and care teams.
• Empower families through education and support.
