Zusammenfassung

Easterseals Florida seeks a dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist to join our therapy team serving students across Volusia County Schools. This role offers a school-year schedule, full-time or PRN options, and mentorship support to help you succeed while making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include evaluations, individualized treatment planning, collaboration with teachers and families, and progress tracking using EMR.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist license.
• One year of related clinical experience and/or pediatric therapy experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Aufgaben

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess students' needs.
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams through IEPs, SSTs, 504 Plans, and problem-solving meetings.
• Track progress using EMR and other approved systems; align with DOE/organization standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation to ensure quality service and compliance.
• Mentor and supervise assistant-level therapists, interns, and volunteers.
• Participate in peer reviews and ongoing professional development.
