Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide in-home pediatric therapy for children with special needs. You will evaluate, treat, and guide families to maximize functional outcomes while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state-issued professional license.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer pediatric physical therapy in home health.
• Direct the patient and caregiver in selected tasks to restore function.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain progress notes and communicate with family about status and goals.
• Refer patients and families to appropriate services as needed.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Support quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Mentor students and new hires as assigned.
• Back up service provider for other caseloads when needed.
