Job summary

The University of Missouri-Columbia seeks a Psychology Technician to support pediatric assessments in the Developmental/Behavioral pediatrics unit. You will administer and score standardized tests for ages 3-21 under supervision, build rapport with patients, and coordinate with clinicians to document findings.

Responsibilities include preparing score reports, maintaining testing spaces and software readiness, and assisting with scheduling and records requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of psychological testing procedures and examinations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective contact with patients during testing.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score standardized psychological/neuropsychological tests to patients (ages 3-21) under supervision.
• Establish rapport and use basic behavioral management strategies to engage patients in testing.
• Communicate with attending providers to plan for visits and address questions.
• Prepare report templates with summaries of scores and behavioral observations within 2 business days.
• Maintain clinic rooms and inventory of testing supplies; ensure software readiness.
• Assist with patient scheduling, reminder calls, and processing outside records requests.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
