Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a Pediatric Psychometrist to administer and score evaluations for children from infancy through late adolescence. You will prepare testing environments, guide families, and document findings to inform treatment planning.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, have 1 year of pediatric testing experience, and demonstrate empathy, confidentiality, and ethical standards in a collaborative clinical setting at MCW with Children's Wisconsin

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• At least 1 year of experience administering standardized tests with pediatric patients preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on empathy, compassion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological and neuropsychological tests for ages 0–18 to assess cognitive, behavioral and social functioning.
• Prepare testing environment to be welcoming and organized for patient visits.
• Guide and support patients and families from arrival to departure.
• Create a supportive testing environment while following strict guidelines.
• Score tests accurately and document findings.
• Record detailed behavioral observations to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical behavior.
• Potential assessment of post-trauma inpatients.
