Job summary

Core Physicians' pediatric psychiatry role is embedded in the multi-disciplinary primary care team in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. The psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatry services and participate in Collaborative Care Management, working closely with pediatricians, care managers, and behavioral health clinicians to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school/university.
• Board certification or eligibility in pediatric psychiatry.
• Experience with Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) or liaison psychiatry.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric patients (ages 0-22).
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers.
• Provide telephonic or electronic case consultation with primary care providers on patient care plans.
