Job summary

Core Physicians' Seacoast pediatric practice in NH is seeking a full-time Pediatric Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join an interdisciplinary team. You will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients aged 0 through 22, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor medications in outpatient and inpatient settings.

You will collaborate with Primary Care, nursing, care managers and behavioral health clinicians to deliver integrated care and ensure outcome-focused treatment

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical college/university.
• Board-certification or eligibility in pediatric psychiatry.
• Experience with Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) or liaison psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric patients aged 0–22.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex psychiatric conditions.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications as part of integrated care.
• Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers.
• Consult with primary care providers on patient care plans and treatment decisions.

Our pediatric practice in the beautiful Seacoast region of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our inter-disciplinary team. We are committed to providing the highest quality, family-centered, and fully integrated care to our community's youngest residents, from infancy through young adulthood.

About The Role

As a Pediatric Psychiatrist with Core Physicians, you'll be a vital part of an integrated healthcare team. You'll work closely with Primary Care, nursing, care managers, and behavioral health clinicians to provide comprehensive medical and behavioral care. This includes:

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric patients (ages 0-22)
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with a variety of complex psychiatric conditions
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
• Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers
• Provide telephonic or electronic case consultation with primary care providers on patient care plans and treatment decisions, offering psychiatric expertise and guidance

Qualifications and Skills

We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about pediatric mental health and thrives in a team-based environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Completed training at an accredited medical college/university with Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Board-certification, or board-eligibility, in pediatric psychiatry
• Experience in Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) or liaison psychiatry
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Ability to flex between outpatient and inpatient settings, as needed
