Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Pediatric Psychiatrist to join the Seacoast team. This role integrates with primary care, nursing, care managers and behavioral health clinicians to deliver comprehensive medical and behavioral care to patients ages 0-22.

The position offers full-time hours, no-call, and opportunities to contribute in outpatient and inpatient settings within a multidisciplinary group. Collaborative care is a core component of daily practice.

Qualifications

• Completed training at an accredited medical college/university with Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
• Board-certification, or board-eligibility, in pediatric psychiatry.
• Experience in Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) or liaison psychiatry.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to flex between outpatient and inpatient settings, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric patients (ages 0-22).
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex conditions.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers.
• Provide telephonic or electronic case consultation with primary care providers on patient care plans and treatment decisions.
