Job summary

Shriners Children’s in Sacramento is seeking a Per Diem Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our Pediatric Orthotics and Prosthetics team. This clinician fabricates a variety of orthoses and prostheses for inpatients and outpatients, measures and fits patients as prescribed by the medical staff, and serves as a clinical resource to staff.

Qualifications

• Orthotist certification required.
• Prosthetics certification required.
• ABCP certification or equivalent credential preferred.
• BOC certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate specific orthoses and prostheses for inpatients and outpatients using a range of technical skills.
• Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting under supervision of the Orthotics/Prosthetics Manager.
