Shriners Children's Spokane is seeking a Prosthetist and Orthotist to deliver orthotics care, assist physicians, and guide technicians in fabricating devices. You will ensure compliance with standards and maintain a smooth workflow with timely delivery of devices to patients.

The role requires a high school diploma, a degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics, and ABC Certification, plus BLS. CAD experience and 3+ years in the field are preferred to support technical operations.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
• Must be ABC certified in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Acts as a resource to physicians, patients, families, and other medical care providers in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
• Adapts to changes in the environment in a positive, proactive manner; leads staff in accepting and embracing change.
• Demonstrating the ability to prioritize and maintain a feasible workflow while meeting deadlines.
• Trains technicians in proper fabrication procedures.
• Coordinates department services to improve patient outcomes.
• Develops goals and plans of care based on assessments and needs.
