Job summary

Advocate Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte is seeking a skilled RN for the 8P Progressive Care Unit. You will provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, coordinating interventions to ensure safety and comfort for pediatric patients.

Two 12-hour shifts per week (7pm–7am) with a rotating holiday schedule, two weekends every six weeks, and a supportive team environment. Licensure and BLS required; ACLS/PALS within six months of hire; inpatient RN experience

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
