Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Mississippi is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current TB screening within past 12 months.
• Able to meet state background screening requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Pediatric or private duty nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled nursing care per the physician's plan of care.
• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition.
• Administer G-tube and oral feedings with aspiration precautions.
• Maintain seizure precautions and respond to seizure activity.
• Administer medications and other ordered interventions.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate changes or concerns with the clinical team.
• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs.

We are currently seeking an LPN forconsistent weekday day shifts, with the greatest need for coverageWednesday–Friday from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Additional Monday and Tuesday shifts may also be available for nurses interested in working a Monday–Friday schedule.

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a13-year-old male pediatric patient in the comfort of his home.

Clinical needs include:

G-tube and PO feedings with aspiration precautions

Medication administration

Assistance with ADLs

The assigned nurse will provideone-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, skilled intervention, and individualized support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS
