Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a PRN PreOp/PACU RN to care for patients before and after surgery in a pediatric setting. The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing care, coordination with families, and adherence to regulatory standards.

A minimum of 2 years in a PreOp/PACU setting is required, with pediatric exposure considered a plus. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with no holidays or weekends and no new grads.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PreOp/PACU setting.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• No new grads; candidates must be able to work M–F, 6 AM–3 PM.

Responsabilités

• Conduct nursing assessments across age groups and conditions, prioritizing needs and developing a care plan.
• Implement plans of care following policies and guidelines; educate patients and families on health management.
• Coordinate care transitions and communicate with the healthcare team to promote positive outcomes.
• Monitor quality indicators, provide feedback, and ensure patient safety and infection control.
