Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the PreOp PACU at the Main campus in Phoenix. This part-time night position runs 10pm-6:30am and supports postoperative recovery and pre-/post-op care.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, patient/family education, thorough documentation, and collaboration with the care team to coordinate plans of care. Prior PACU/Pre-op experience required or considered with critical care exposure; no new grads."

Qualifications

• 1+ year PACU/Pre-op experience preferred
• No new grads
• Ability to work evenings/nights and adapt to unit needs

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team and families.
• Supervise and support care delivery to ensure safety and quality.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning guidance.
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate plan of care and rounds.
