Job summary

Nationwide Children's is seeking a full-time Pediatric Practice Manager to direct operations at one or more physician practices in Toledo, OH. The role focuses on achieving annual operational and financial goals with oversight of workflows for patients, providers, and staff.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, hiring and training, ensuring quality and compliance, and coordinating with hospital departments to support IT, finance, and clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of experience managing a physician practice or two years of leadership experience preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, solve problems, and execute strategies in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Scheduling, Registration, Microsoft Office and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and motivates teams; promotes problem solving and goal setting.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates staff.
• Counsels employees on performance, promotion, and termination.
• Sets behavior standards and delivers outstanding customer service.
• Manages supply chain, budgeting, invoices, and day-to-day operations.
• Leads provider integration activities and onboarding of new physicians/APPs.
• Oversees revenue cycle processes and reviews data trends for strategic planning.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.
