Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a full-time Manager, Practice Operations for our busy Pediatric office in Morristown, NJ. You will oversee daily operations across AMG Pediatrics—Morristown and Florham Park—and partner with physicians and staff to drive high-quality, patient-centered care while improving efficiency and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and change management skills required
• Preferred Pediatric experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze satisfaction, financial and operational data and develop plans for improvement
• Knowledge of laws and medical terminology relating to the management and operations of physician practices
• Understanding of financial incentives and requirements of physician practices
• Experience working with medical center operations and staff
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and policies.
• Daily Operations of the department and cross-site coordination.
• Work collaboratively with peers and physicians to improve operations.
• Manage staff adherence to policies and drive continuous process improvement.
• Assist in budgeting, data gathering, and justification for resources.
• Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions.
• Address performance and behavioral issues per policy.
• Maximize patient, staff, and physician satisfaction across sites.
• Support productivity and reimbursement optimization with physicians.
• Assist in resource planning including staff, technology and space.
• Coordinate credentialing and record-keeping for contracts.
• Foster teamwork and regular staff/physician meetings to discuss initiatives.
