Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant for the AMG-Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team in Morristown, NJ. The role supports clinic operations, screens patients, and collaborates with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality pediatric care.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, blood draws, and EMR documentation in EPIC. Required CMA certification and HS diploma; outpatient pediatric setting preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• National Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CCMA certification from listed bodies is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and update medical records.
• Take vital signs and prepare examination rooms.
• Assist with examinations and blood draws/EKG as needed.
• Train MA staff on monitoring equipment and system upgrades.
• Coordinate MA/ CMA scheduling to ensure coverage.
• Maintain accurate medical records in EMR.
