Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to lead multiple clinical departments. You will provide strategic leadership, supervise nursing and clinical staff, and partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

This role focuses on policy development, quality improvement, budgeting, staffing, and scheduling, while ensuring compliance with JC and CMS standards.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 3-5 Years Nurse Manager/leader Experience Required
• Valid NJ Nursing License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight across all areas of responsibility.
• Supervise nursing and clinical staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and experience.
• Oversee departmental budgeting, resource allocation, staffing models, and scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation and quality standards (e.g., JC, CMS).
• Serve as a mentor and advocate for professional development, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and access to care in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric services.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Create a working environment that promotes positive employee engagement, adherence to company policies, effective communication, collaboration, innovation, optimal productivity and continuous learning. Treats, recognizes and respects team members as individuals and challenges each to succeed.
• Communicates, monitors, and manages effectively as a hospital/system liaison to members of the community. Continually seeks ways to promote organization to the public.
