Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX is seeking a strategic healthcare sales leader to drive surgical business development in pediatric specialties. You will design physician outreach and market expansion plans to increase referrals and grow the regional market share for DCMC pediatric surgery.

You will collaborate with pediatric surgeons and primary care physicians, leveraging CRM analytics to guide outreach ROI, remove operational barriers, and align capacity with leadership to support expansion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of cumulative experience, or an associate's/bachelor's with 2 years, or 7 years of relevant experience.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare sales, physician relations, or clinical operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Strategic Surgical Business Development: design and execute physician outreach and market expansion plans to increase referrals and expand regional market share for DCMC pediatric surgical specialties.
• Cultivate High-Value Provider & Surgeon Partnerships: partner with pediatric surgeons to articulate offerings, communicate value, and execute growth strategies.
• Execute Targeted Market & Referral Analytics: use CRM platforms and analytics to audit referral trends, evaluate market share, monitor activity, and measure outreach ROI.
• Streamline Access & Resolve Operational Barriers: identify and remove bottlenecks hindering referral workflows, collaborating with clinic leadership to improve the referring provider experience.
• Capitalize on PRM Team Synergy: collaborate with primary care PRMs to leverage relationships and convert connections into surgical referrals.
• Align Capacity with Leadership Strategy: partner with hospital executives and outpatient leaders to ensure capacity supports outreach expansion.
