Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in Albuquerque, NM. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance, and fully paid malpractice insurance.

Practice Highlights

• Monday - Friday Schedule: Provider will have 34 hours of scheduled patient care and 6 hours of administrative time per week. 4-day work week option.
• Patient Volume is average 20 to 22 patients per day.
• 100% Outpatient - no newborn deliveries or newborn nursery.

What We’re Seeking:

• Must be BC/BE in Pediatrics.
• Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice.
• Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico.

Responsibilities:

• Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
• Manage the physician/patient relationship.
• Participate in system-wide health management initiatives.
• Provide input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
• Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
• Receive and resolve patient complaints.
• Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
• Consult with and advise other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.
• Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.

Credentials Required: M.D. /D.O. Board-eligible or certified with State of New Mexico Medical License.
