Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Family Medicine physician to join our established practice in Albuquerque, NM. We prioritize well-being, starting with yours. Practice Highlights:

  • Practice call rotation within the group
  • Patient-Centered Medical Home Support team including Behavioral Health Clinicians, Clinical Pharmacists, Advanced Practice Clinicians (NP/PA), RNs, and Medical Assistants
  • Guaranteed salary for 3 years with incentives

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient, primary care services for patients with acute and chronic illnesses
  • Make professional medical judgments in patient care
  • Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe treatments, medications, and therapies
  • Document all patient encounters accurately
  • Manage provider/patient relationships and resolve complaints
  • Educate and counsel individuals, families, and groups
  • Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively as needed
  • Participate in recruitment and system-wide health initiatives
  • Contribute to clinical protocol development and review
  • Engage in professional development activities
  • Attend scheduled meetings and adapt assessment techniques based on patient needs
  • Maintain coding and encounter data standards

Credentials Required:

  • MD / DO, Board Eligible or Certified in Family Medicine
  • State of New Mexico Medical License, DEA, and NM Controlled Substance Registration
