Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waco, TX is seeking a Physician Assistant for primary care in pediatrics. This role focuses on outpatient care across well visits, acute visits, and follow-ups within a collaborative clinical team.

The position offers 8- or 10-hour shifts during clinic hours (7 AM–7 PM), no weekend requirements, and a structured 12-month fellowship with 12–18 months of transition support to help new grads grow into independent providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Texas PA license.
• Certification by NCCPA.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical exams and collect patient histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and diagnostics.
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatments per protocol.
• Develop detailed, evidence-based treatment plans with the care team.
• Counsel patients and families on health, medications, and lifestyle.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate referrals as needed.
