Job summary

Therapy 2000 in Texas seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide home-based pediatric therapy under supervision. You will assess and treat children in their homes using engaging activities and develop tailored care plans with families’ involvement.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and clinicians, create home exercise programs, and ensure meticulous documentation. Bilingual English/Spanish are preferred; travel between visits may be required.

Qualifications

• A current/active license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments under Supervising Physical Therapist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Meet with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
