Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist for the In House Registry to cover PTO, leaves, and scheduling gaps. This is a part-time, on-site role with 192 hours/year across 6 Saturdays per quarter and holidays.

The PT provides pediatric rehab services at network locations in Wheaton and surrounding communities, joining a patient-first team with strong ethics and safety standards. Responsibilities include evaluations, modalities, treatment, and discharge planning with supervision

Qualifications

• 3 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience required.
• Active Illinois physical therapy license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluations and develop goal-directed plans of care.
• Administer PT modalities and treatments per plan.
• Supervise PT assistants and students as needed.
• Document patient progress, billing, and charges.
• Prioritize workload and manage scheduling.
