Responsibilities

• Assess factors that contribute to a student’s ability to participate within the school environment.
• Collaborate and communicate with other members of the student’s educational team including family.
• Plan and implement physical therapy intervention programs that meet the specific goals and objectives as stated in the IEP.
• Provide training to members of the student’s educational team for implementation and/or carryover of student programs.
• Document, including instructional support/pre-referral and referral activities, evaluation reports, intervention notes, progress notes, consultation notes, and summaries for IEP meetings.
