Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days.
• Current PT license in PA or NJ depending on work location.
• Successful completion of required affiliations and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial evaluations and develop treatment plans to improve movement and reduce pain.
• Provide skilled interventions using appropriate modalities and equipment.
• Collaborate with patients to set short- and long-term goals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other providers while ensuring confidentiality.
• Manage patients to restore function and prevent disability and document progress and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about prognosis and care options.
• Supervise PTAs and students as assigned.
• Attend meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
