Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients using heat, cold, ultrasound, traction and therapeutic exercise, and to develop rehabilitation plans with families. Responsibilities include documenting treatments and progress, mentoring staff, overseeing equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Michigan license, and at least three years of clinical experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and MI license (or eligible)
• Three years of clinical experience for independent patient treatment
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Michigan or eligibility for MI license

Responsabilidades

• Treat patients using standard physical therapy procedures and document findings
• Develop home exercise programs and instruct families during hospitalization and discharge
• Co-sign notes and supervise PT assistants, aides, students, and volunteers as assigned
• Maintain equipment and supplies and participate in staff in-services and interdisciplinary meetings
