Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist for the DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in Detroit on a PRN basis. You will provide physical therapy using heat, cold, ultrasound and exercise, evaluate motor/neurological function, and document progress with patients and families.

The position requires a Michigan license, a degree in Physical Therapy, and ongoing professional development. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and mentoring staff are included as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Three years of clinical experience in order to acquire skills for independent patient treatment.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of 60 points on the professional growth and development criteria.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients using standard physical therapy procedures and assist in rehabilitative exercise programs.
• Evaluate patients’ motor and neurological capabilities and document findings.
• Develop home care programs for patients and provide instruction to families during hospitalization and discharge.
