Job summary
THERAPY 2000 in Amarillo, TX seeks an Experienced Physical Therapist PRN/Part Time to join a mission-driven team providing home-based pediatric therapy. You will conduct comprehensive PT evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate care with families and other providers in the child’s home.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of pediatric PT experience, home-health exposure, bilingual English/Spanish, and relevant specialty certifications.
Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Specialty certifications (e.g., PCS).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
- Develop home exercise programs with caregivers.
- Collaborate with other providers and coordinate care.
- Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required.
- Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs and all paperwork.
- Adhere to agency policies and local laws for home-health pediatric PT.
