Job summary

THERAPY 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist/Assistant for Grand Prairie & Arlington, TX, offering full-time or part-time roles with a sign-on bonus. You will evaluate children, develop and implement PT plans, and coordinate with families and care teams to support each child’s growth and goals.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of pediatric PT experience, home-health exposure, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Specialty Certifications (example: PCS).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Collaborate and coordinate care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Maintain timely chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs.
• Meet with agency personnel to ensure understanding of expectations and standards.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and legal/ethical guidelines for home-health pediatric therapy.
