PediaStaff is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Shelbyville, KY. You will evaluate and treat children aged 0–18 in a family-centered, collaborative setting, supporting mobility and participation across home, school, and community.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate children from birth through age 21 with a variety of congenital, developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
• Improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions, including gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to help children achieve meaningful developmental and functional outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to maximize each child's success.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services that support participation at home, school, and within the community.
• Maintain professional and technical competencies while upholding all state licensure, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete timely documentation, progress reporting, and family education as part of comprehensive pediatric care.
