• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with comprehensive evaluations and realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations, progress and discharge notes; ICD-9 codes when applicable.
• Meets department productivity and budgeted expectations and adjusts schedules to meet patient needs.
• Participates in process management to improve quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes education of health care workers and conducts in-service trainings.
• Supervises PT and PTA students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality care.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff and external customers.
• Delivers age- and developmentally appropriate care following guidelines.
• Upholds hospital standards and fosters teamwork.
