Job summary

Sacbar's outpatient clinic in Monterey, CA is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist or COTA to join a compassionate, diverse team. Full-time or part-time hours with flexible scheduling, inclusive of school settings or specialized hand therapy options.

New grads welcome; CA OT license required; strong communication with children and families is essential. In-person position with close-knit staff and great benefits package.

Qualifications

• CA OT license required.
• Pediatric experience preferred; training available.
• Ability to commute to Monterey, CA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interview clients and caregivers.
• Document evaluations, SOAP notes, progress reports, goals, & discharge summaries using an EMR system.
• Use therapeutic techniques for desired outcomes.
• Select standardized assessments and screeners as appropriate.
• Use effective communication skills to work with staff, patients, and families.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Maintain an organized workflow to maintain efficiency.
• Work as a team player.

You can work full or part-time as a pediatric occupational therapist or COTA in our beautiful private outpatient clinic. Options to work in school settings, feeding therapy, and adult hand therapy are also available if desired.
