Job summary

Seattle Children’s in Seattle, WA, seeks a phlebotomy-focused laboratorian to provide age-appropriate phlebotomy services, handle specimen processing, and ensure accurate orders and results to patient care teams. You will also train new staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years in laboratory processing and/or phlebotomy.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program through a postsecondary school.
• Coursework in Clinical Laboratory Assistant or biology/chemistry related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate phlebotomy services and specimen collection.
• Process laboratory specimens and fulfill orders in clinical systems.
