Job summary

Advocate Health, based in Wisconsin, seeks a full-time Phlebotomist for the Pediatrics department. The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, and basic testing under CLIA guidelines. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, with a pay range of $19.80–$29.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge and experience in phlebotomy or related laboratory function.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identification and ensures patient safety.
• Performs venipuncture and specimen collection according to protocol.
• Labeling and tracking of specimens and rejection resolution of requisition issues.
• Performs CLIA-labeled testing under established policies.
• Assist with inventory, billing support, and other administrative tasks.
