Job summary

Child Health Associates is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our pediatric laboratory team in Auburn, MA. This full-time position focuses on venipuncture for pediatric patients and expanding duties beyond blood draws, including processing specimens and operating lab equipment as trained.

You will work closely with a supportive team to ensure accurate specimen handling, safety, and a positive patient experience for children and their families in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on phlebotomy experience required.
• Strong venipuncture skills required.
• Comfortable working with infants, children, and families.
• Willingness to learn additional laboratory duties.
• Experience in pediatric settings preferred.
• Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood collection on pediatric patients.
• Create a calm, positive blood-draw experience for young patients.
• Label and handle specimens accurately.
• Follow procedures for patient ID, specimen collection, and infection control.
• Process specimens and assist with routine lab tasks as trained.
• Maintain supplies and a clean, safe lab environment.
