Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development is seeking a diligent phlebotomy technician to join the Liberty Campus team. The role focuses on safe specimen collection, patient education, and collaboration with the Clinical Laboratory department.

You will perform approved procedures, support point-of-care testing, and help ensure high standards of quality and compliance while working evening shifts and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of Phlebotomy or other clinical lab specimen collection experience or completion of a Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant program.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and approved specimen collection procedures.
• Provide education and information to patients and families about tests and specimen collection.
• Support lab operations and participate in special projects as needed.
• Maintain compliance with lab standards and training.
