Acloché LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Austin, TX for a 3-month contract with potential to go permanent. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am–5pm; experience in pediatrics required and proficiency with venipuncture using straight or butterfly needles.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and transporting specimens, and maintaining accurate records while following OSHA guidelines. Qualifications include valid state phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification valid for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and related specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and transport specimens as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Ensure paperwork matches specimens.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer inquiries and read lab results.
• Maintain equipment and record maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens per procedures.
