Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time) to join our inpatient pharmacy team. This role supports preparation and delivery of medications under pharmacist supervision and provides customer service to internal and external customers.

Work schedule includes rotating day and evening shifts, with overnight rotations as needed, and requires Florida Pharmacy Technician licensure within 6 months of hire. Hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Pharmacy Technician training program or completion of a Pharmacy Technician internship may be considered as work experience.
• Florida Pharmacy Technician licensure required within 6 months of hire; Florida Pharmacy Intern license may be accepted in lieu of license.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in preparation and delivery of medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Performs aseptic compounding and operates Pyxis/dispensing systems.
• Maintains drug distribution records and inventory in inpatient pharmacy.
• Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
• Cross-trained for responsibilities in Retail or Inpatient Pharmacy.
• Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations.
