Job summary

ORLANDO HEALTH ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to assist with operational and distribution responsibilities across Arnold Palmer and Winnie Palmer Hospitals. Night shift coverage is required, and knowledge of Orlando Health software systems is beneficial.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma, Florida technician registration, CPht or PTCB certification, and 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
• Demonstrates familiarity with the general duties and processes of the Pharmacy department.
• Accurately assists the Pharmacist in all duties pertaining to medication distribution and aseptic techniques.
• Maintains USP 797 standards and other regulatory required documentation.
• Supports training of new pharmacy technicians and collaborates across departments.
