Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a staff pharmacist to process and verify medication orders, monitor patient therapies, and provide drug information in a busy hospital pharmacy setting.

The role may include supervising support staff and stepping in for the pharmacy manager when needed. A Doctor of Pharmacy is preferred; Missouri licensure eligibility is required, with MTMS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school.
• Doctor of Pharmacy preferred; ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred.
• Missouri pharmacist license eligibility and MTMS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify medication orders; monitor patient therapies and provide drug information.
• Supervise and direct support personnel within the pharmacy.
• May assume pharmacy manager duties in absence of the manager.
