Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for patients in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patients and inform dentist or anesthetist of complications.
