Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op and Post-Op unit at the Surgery Center. This full-time, day shift role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

You will work in a fast-paced peri-operative setting focused on PreOp and Phase 2 recovery. Two to four years of ED/ICU/Surgical Services experience and active RN licensure with BLS are required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in Emergency Department, ICU or Surgical Services.
• BLS certification required; RN license must be active.
• Background check (level II) required as condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate and prepare the room and case; involve family in care plans.
• Support and supervise auxiliary staff in a fast-paced peri-operative unit.
