Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pre-Op and Post-Op unit at Wolfson Surgery Center in Orange Park, FL. This full-time, day shift role focuses on peri-operative care, including PreOp and Phase 2 recovery.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and coordination of care for patients and families, with 2–4 years of ED/ICU/Surgical Services experience and an active RN license. BLS required. No weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• AS in Nursing required.
• BS in Nursing preferred.
• 2-4 years Emergency Department, ICU, Surgical Services Experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Involving patients and families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and anticipation of case needs.
• Fast-paced peri-operative unit focusing on Pre-Op and Phase 2 recovery.
