Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Op and Post-Op unit at Wolfson Surgery Center. This full-time, day shift role focuses on peri-operative nursing care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating care, coordinating with families and auxiliary services to deliver individualized plans and ensure smooth patient flow through Pre-Op and Phase 2 recovery.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure in good standing required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients in Pre-Op and Post-Op.
• Coordinate with ancillary services and families to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Prepare and coordinate rooms and cases; anticipate patient needs.
• Provide peri-operative nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
