Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND clinical rotation from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited program.
• Or listing on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA (with reciprocity within 180 days).
• Or listing on Ohio or National Emergency Medical Services Registry; OR 1+ year of patient care experience in last 3 years.
• CPR training and maintenance of certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care - Provide approved care of assigned patients and assist in implementation of interventions under supervision of RN.
• Supervise and assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate activities and patient transport as requested.
• Assist co-workers after completion of own duties and may provide 1 on 1 patient observation as needed.
• Use crisis control techniques and assist in de-escalation of patients and visitors.
