Qualifications

• Working knowledge of English; other language an asset.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Medical Assistant within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and completes check-in/check-out.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares rooms for provider visits.
• Validates patient medical record and HIPAA compliance when accessing/updating information.
• Utilizes EPIC to review and update patient records and communicate with care team.
• Stocks exam/treatment rooms and keeps areas clean and organized.
• Releases medical records per HIPAA and ROI guidelines.
